My Dictionary does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us. Your words, captures, quiz results, and settings are stored locally on your device only. No account or sign-in is required.
You may take a photo (or pick one from your library) to attach to a word or a quick capture, or to identify a word from an image. Photos you choose to use are stored on your device and are only sent off-device if you use an AI-powered feature (see below).
The app can record short voice notes in Quick Capture, and can transcribe your spoken answers during Scripts practice to score pronunciation. Recording and transcription happen using your device's microphone and speech recognizer; recordings are stored locally and are not uploaded anywhere.
Optional features — generating word details, quizzes, chat practice, and identifying words from a photo — send the relevant text or photo to a third-party AI provider (Groq or Google Gemini) solely to produce that result. This only happens when you actively use one of these features. We do not operate any server of our own and do not retain a copy of what is sent.
The optional Web Import tool starts a small server on your device so you can add words (with photos) from a browser on another device on the same WiFi network. It only runs while you have that screen open and is never active in the background.
This app does not use any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services. The only third parties involved are the AI providers described above, and only when you use an AI-powered feature.

My Dictionary 不会收集、存储或向我们传输任何个人数据。您的单词、随手记录、测验结果和设置均仅存储在您的设备本地，无需注册或登录账号。
您可以拍照（或从相册选择照片）添加到单词或随手记录中，或用于从图片中识别单词。您选择使用的照片存储在设备本地，只有在使用 AI 相关功能时才会被发送出去（见下文）。
应用可以在「随手记录」中录制简短语音，也可以在「情景练习」中转写您的口语作答以给发音打分。录音和转写均使用设备本地的麦克风与语音识别功能完成，录音文件保存在本地，不会上传。
部分可选功能——生成单词详情、测验题目、聊天练习，以及从照片识别单词——会将相关文本或照片发送给第三方 AI 服务商（Groq 或 Google Gemini），仅用于生成对应结果。此操作仅在您主动使用这些功能时才会发生。我们自己不运营任何服务器，也不会保留所发送内容的副本。
可选的「网页导入」工具会在您的设备上启动一个小型服务器，让您可以从同一 WiFi 网络下的另一台设备的浏览器中添加单词（含照片）。该服务仅在您打开此页面时运行，不会在后台运行。
本应用不使用任何分析、广告或崩溃报告服务。唯一涉及的第三方是上文提到的 AI 服务商，且仅在您使用 AI 相关功能时才会涉及。
